Week of January 25-29th

Hello! Here are the assignments for the week of January 25th-29th. I am very happy with the progress you've been making in class. Remember, "Keep your eyes on the prize!"

MONDAY, January 25th
Classwork: Worksheet B (double sided). Side B has slope questions. The back has questions about finding the missing x or y coordinate when given an equation.

Homework: Work on Pink Sheet (Slope Project). Due Friday. 100 points.


TUESDAY, January 26th
Classwork: Predictive Assessment Preparation. Packet finished in class, then comparisons to performance on Predictive Assessment from September.

Homework: Work on Pink Sheet (Slope Project). Due Friday. 100 points.
Study sample Predictive Assessment questions.


WEDNESDAY, January 27th
Classwork: Chapter 5.3 Notes on Direct Variation. #5-26 on Page 241. Show all work.
Finish Worksheet B from Monday

Homework: Unfinished Classwork. Work on Pink Sheet (Slope Project). Due Friday. 100 points.


THURSDAY, January 28th
Classwork: Chapter 5.3 Notes continued on Direct Variation tables and graphing equations. Notes include #27-31 on Page 241. Show all work. Also
Worksheet Practice B on Direct Variation.

Homework: Finish Worksheet Practice B on Direct Variation. Work on Pink Sheet (Slope Project). Due Friday. 100 points.



FRIDAY, January 29th
Classwork: Chapter 5.4 Notes on the Slope Intercept Form. Practice graphing lines using slope intercept form. Worksheet B on Slope Intercept Form and X-and Y-Intercepts.
Go over Grade updates for 3rd marking period.
Turn in Pink Sheet (Slope Project). 100 points.

Keep up the good work on Chapter 4. Here are the assignments for the days before Thanksgiving Break. Any questions, please don't hesitate to email me at stsoto@philasd.org


IMPORTANT: For your Study Island Assignment, please make sure that you are writing down at least 10 questions and answers from each section. There are 5 sections, so that means you should have 50 question/answer sets in all. Do not wait until the last minute to complete this!!! Due December 4th.
